Dermal fillers (Juvederm®, Restylene®, Belotero®) are Hyaluronic acid, a natural substance in our bodies that has the ability to attract and retain moisture. It is a gel form that is injected to restore lost volume in the skin from weight loss, sun exposure, and the aging process that breaks down our natural hyaluronic acid over the years. It is also used to augment, and enhance facial features.
Typically you will see immediate results, depending on the area injected with final results that may take up to 2 weeks. Benefits of fillers are not permanent however, typically last for 6-12 months for fine lines and lip fillers with 12-24 months for cheek, jaw, chin, and temple fillers.
Best results are achieved when we combine fillers with neuromodulators.

POST CARE
Post treatment care includes:
- Cold compress (if necessary) immediately for swelling
- Avoid anti-inflammatories, and blood thinners, such as ibuprofen, Advil, aspirin, omegas, vitamin E, turmeric, as this can help prevent bruising.
- Avoid workouts, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours.
- Sleep on back and slightly elevated for 2-3 days post injection.
- Avoid hot tubs or saunas for 2-3 days.
